Xiaomi launches Mijia District 3 Washing Machine Pro Drum 10kg Ice Crystal White in China

Voice control, “super electrolysis” and over-the-air updates

Xiaomi has begun selling the Mijia District 3 Washing Machine Pro Drum 10kg Ice Crystal White in China. The new model is already listed on JD.com, with a launch price of 4,699 yuan (US$690). With a government subsidy applied, the cost drops to 3,994 yuan (US$585). A standout feature is its three-drum design: one main large drum plus two smaller drums intended for underwear and socks.

Among the headline features, Xiaomi points to its “super electrolysis” technology, which is meant to help tackle stubborn stains, improve whitening, and reduce the risk of fabrics becoming dyed.

The washing machine can be controlled either via the company’s companion app or through the Xiao AI voice assistant. Once a programme finishes, the system can automatically remind you to collect the laundry, and it can also trigger smart home routines-such as automated actions involving a tumble dryer setup and lighting. The new model also supports over-the-air updates.
