Baseus has introduced a new portable power bank, the PicoGo Air, positioning it as the thinnest in its class. The device measures just 6.9 mm in thickness.
Battery capacity and charging options
The PicoGo Air comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, which is enough to top up a smartphone. It supports 15 W magnetic wireless charging as well as 22.5 W fast charging over a cable.
PowerSenseNFC and charge level display
One standout feature is PowerSenseNFC. By tapping a phone against the power bank, the user can check the exact remaining charge level via an app. This extra feature removes the need to rely on flashing indicator lights.
Glacier Heat Dissipation Structure thermal management
Baseus has also focused on heat control. The device includes the Glacier Heat Dissipation Structure system, a VC heat spreader, and an aluminium alloy casing, helping to keep temperatures in check while charging. An adaptive temperature control system is designed to maintain stability and ensure the process remains safe.
Cable, colours and magnetic attachment
In the box, the PicoGo Air includes a short cable that supports fast charging up to 60 W. The power bank itself is available in three colours. Built-in magnets provide a secure attachment.
Price and availability
For now, the PicoGo Air is available in China for 299 yuan (around $44). International sales have not yet been announced, but Baseus has experience bringing its products to global markets, so the device is expected to arrive in other regions in the coming months.
